This calculator is only for devices that connect to the DSC PowerSeries Pro for power. Do not include devices that connect their power wires to an external power supply.
This calculator is specific for DSC PowerSeries devices only. If there are other devices connected to the system, be aware of the power that they draw. For more information, contact the manufacturer.
Two-wire smoke detector current is built into the panel budgets.
The calculation is based on the maximum current draw from the device, which is noted in parenthesis (...mA) next to each device.
The power budget takes into account the 85mA draw from the control board.
