DSC Impassa keypad is in malfunction
If the DSC Impassa screen is displaying a Keypad Malfunction on the screen and there is only one keypad, it is most likely a wiring issue, or it could be loose or bad wires inside the panel.
How to resolve:
A hard reset will temporarily resolve the malfunction. If the message persists after all the wires have been replaced or secured, the panel will need to be swapped due to hardware failure.
