DSC Impassa is showing a modem-panel Itv2 or comm failure

This message is similar to a modem-panel comm error. When this message displays, the module is communicating with Alarm.com, but the panel is not communicating with the module. Most often, this is because the ribbon inside the panel is loose or disconnected.

How to resolve:

Verify the ribbon cable is secure

Power the panel off.
Reconnect the ribbon. Verify the connection is secure.
Power the panel on, and verify the error message is cleared.

Verify panel programming

Verify [380] option 1 is enabled.
Verify [382] option 5 is enabled.

Verify panel power

Verify the panel power is between 16-18 VAC at the AC terminals.
