EBS OK LED.png

The green OK LED indicates the following three key states:

  • Cellular network registration: Once the device is powered ON, the OK LED (green) will blink rapidly and continuously during the cellular registration.
  • Signal strength: After registration, the OK LED (green) constantly displays signal strength by flashing the number of times corresponding to the cellular signal strength. Then, it will remain ON or OFF for two seconds and repeat the pattern. Signal strength is represented by a scale of 0 to 8 flashes.
  • Server connection: During the two-second intervals, the OK LED will indicate if the communicator has established an active session with the server.
    • OK LED is ON for two seconds indicates the communicator is connected to the server.
    • OK LED is OFF for two seconds indicates the communicator is unable to connect to the server.

Receiving data from the control panel via DTMF: While sending data from the control panel to the communicator via DTMF, the DTMF LED (yellow) will flash the dialing and the Status LED (blue) will flash as confirmation of the handshake.

DTMF indicates the AUC detects activity from the panel.
