What is the difference between the 2GIG GoControl and GC2e panel?
The 2GIG GC2e supports eSeries sensors using the transceiver. Since the 2GIG GC2e is different from the 2GIG GoControl, there are differences in some features compatibility shown in the following table. For more information about eSeries, see What is eSeries on the 2GIG GC2e panel?.

Requires the XCVR5e Transceiver and panel firmware version 1.23+ Compatible with:
|
| 2GIG Wireless Touch Screen Keypad (TS1) | Requires the 900 MHz Transceiver (2GIG-XCVR2-345) | Requires the XCVR5e Transceiver |

Go!Bridge
|
Requires the 900 MHz Transceiver (2GIG-XCVR2-345) Note: Nice North America, LLC announced the discontinuation of the 2GIG Go!Bridge as of April 8, 2020. Any Go!Bridges that have already been distributed will continue to be supported, including those that have not been attached to accounts yet. |
Incompatible Note: It is possible to replace the eSeries transceiver with the 900 MHz transceiver (2GIG-XCVR2-345) to make it compatible with the Go!Bridge but the GC2e will no longer be compatible with eSeries sensors if the eSeries transceiver is replaced with the XCVR2 transceiver. |
Additional considerations
- The GoControl and GC2e have very similar panel programming so both panel types can use the same panel templates. For more information about panel templates, see How are panel templates applied? (Downloader Templates).
- The 2GIG GoControl and GC2e panels can also restore panel backups when swapping between the two panel types. For more information about restoring backups, see Restore a backup for a swap between a 2GIG GoControl panel and a 2GIG GC3.
