Connect a 2GIG EDGE to a Wi-Fi network
The panel can be connected to a Wi-Fi network locally by either manually selecting the network or using Wireless Protected Setup (WPS), or remotely using the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app.
Once the system is connected to Wi-Fi, Dual-Path communication can also be enabled. For more information about enabling Dual-Path, see Enable or disable Dual-Path communication remotely.
Important: Verify the customer has a 2.4 GHz network. If the customer has a dual-band router, try disabling or renaming the 5 GHz network so that the panel only attempts to connect to the 2.4 GHz network.
