Enter the master code, followed by a press of the [⚙ Gear Button]. Press [7], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button]. Press [1], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button].

Factory Reset Method	Note: this will reset the lock's Master Code, and a new Master Code will need to be programmed immediately upon power up following the reset process. Remove the inside lever with the supplied lever removal tool (or possibly a piece of stiff wire). Remove the battery cover with the supplied hex wrench, and remove the batteries. Remove the screw from the center of the battery housing, and then fully remove the interior escutcheon (interior portion of the lock) from the door plate to access the reset button on the back of the escutcheon (try to keep cables connected). Reinstall 4 AA batteries for power, and press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds (continue holding for next step). While continuing to hold the button, fully remove and re-install one battery. Release the button after another 2 seconds and wait approximately 15 seconds. The speaker will announce "Welcome to Yale." Reassemble by reversing the dismantling instructions.
