Enroll, delete, or reset an inovelli Black Series Dimming Smart Switch (LZW31)
The inovelli Black Series Dimming Smart Switch (LZW31) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll an inovelli Black Series Dimming Smart Switch (LZW31) into a Z-Wave network:
Important: This device is only compatible with Z-Wave controllers that support Z-Wave Security 2 (S2), so it must be enrolled as a SmartStart or S2-only device for enhanced security and encryption features.
As a SmartStart device:
It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

To delete an inovelli Black Series Dimming Smart Switch (LZW31) from a Z-Wave network:
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
- Press the Config (A) button three times.

To reset an inovelli Black Series Dimming Smart Switch (LZW31):
Caution: Only use this procedure in the event that the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
Press and hold the Config Button (A) for 20 seconds or use a certified Z-Wave controller to remove the device from the network to factory default.
