Why does the Somfy app show a different open percentage for shades than the Alarm.com app?
Due to a difference in how open percentage information for shades is represented, the Somfy TaHoma North America app will always show the inverse of the Alarm.com Alarm.com app.
This is expected behavior and should not be cause for concern unless the shades are not functioning properly.
Example: In the Alarm.com Alarm.com app, the ZIGBEE shade displays as being 71% open, while the Somfy TaHoma North America app represents the same state as 29%.
Note: RTS Shades cannot be set to a custom percentage and will always display as either Closed (0%) or Open (100%).
