Enroll, delete, or reset a Schneider Square D X Series Switch (SQ14102WHZ)
The Schneider Square D X Series Switch (SQ14102WHZ) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Schneider Square D X Series Switch (SQ14102WHZ) into a Z-Wave network:
As a SmartStart device:
It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:
If your Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
- Press either the on or off button three times within 1.5 seconds.
To delete a Schneider Square D X Series Switch (SQ14102WHZ) from a Z-Wave network:
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
- Press either the on or off button three times within 1.5 seconds.
To reset a Schneider Square D X Series Switch (SQ14102WHZ):
- Quickly press either the on or off button three times.
- Hold the button for 10+ seconds. The LED will blink quickly for 10 seconds and then the paddle can be released after the LED changes to solid on. The LED will blink quickly for 3 seconds when factory reset succeeds.
