Enroll, delete, or reset a Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S
The Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S:
As a SmartStart device:
It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
- Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED turns solid blue, then release.
Note: If the LED is already solid blue, no change will be observed until the button is released. - Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED rapidly flashes blue, then release.
- The LED will flash blue during the add process.
- Once successfully added, the LED will blink green.
To delete a Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S:
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
- Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED turns solid blue, then release.
Note: If the LED is already solid blue, no change will be observed until the button is released. - Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED rapidly flashes blue, then release.
- The LED will flash blue during the delete process.
- Once successfully deleted, the LED will blink blue slowly.
To reset a Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S:
- Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED turns solid blue, then release.
Note: If the LED is already solid blue, no change will be observed until the button is released. - Press and release the button. The LED will turn solid red.
- Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until the LED rapidly flashes red, then release.
- During factory reset, the LED will turn solid green for about 1 second, then the blue and red LED will start blinking for approximately 2 seconds.
- Once successfully reset, the LED will blink blue slowly.
