Enroll, delete, or reset a Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1

The Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

Enroll a Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1

As a SmartStart device

It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device

If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:

If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device using an attached light switch or using the S button. 

To enroll the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the switch/power button: 
  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Connect the device to a power supply and verify the blue LED is blinking in Mode 1.
  3. Toggle the switch/power button three times within 3 seconds. The blue LED will change flash patterns. 
  4. The green LED will begin flashing once successfully enrolled. 
To enroll the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the S button: 
  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Connect the device to a power supply and verify the blue LED is blinking in Mode 1.
  3. Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue. 
  4. Press and hold the S button again until the LED begins flashing in Mode 3, then release.
  5. The green LED will begin flashing once successfully enrolled.

To delete a Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1:

  1. To delete the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the switch/power button: 
  2. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  3. Toggle the switch/power button three times within 3 seconds. The blue LED will change flash patterns. 
  4. The blue LED will begin flashing once successfully deleted. 
  5. To delete the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the S button: 
  6. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  7. Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue. 
  8. Press and hold the S button again until the LED begins flashing in Mode 3, then release.
  9. The blue LED will begin flashing once successfully deleted.

To reset a Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1:

To reset the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the switch/power button: 
  1. Toggle the switch/power button five times within 3 seconds. The green LED will flash, followed by blue and red alternating in a pattern. 
  2. The blue LED will begin flashing once successfully reset. 
To reset the Shelly Qubino Wave Pro 1 using the S button: 
  1. Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue. 
  2. Press the S button multiple times until the LED turns red.
  3. Press and hold the S button again until the LED begins flashing, then release.
  4. The blue LED will begin flashing once successfully reset.

Troubleshooting

The Z-Wave device is not enrolling
