Enroll, delete, or reset a Shelly Qubino Wave 1
The Shelly Qubino Wave 1 can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Shelly Qubino Wave 1:
As a SmartStart device:
It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.
- Verify the Wave 1 Relay is connected to power.
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
- Trigger the Wave 1 Relay for inclusion:
- Using an attached light switch:
- Toggle the attached switch on and off three times within 3 seconds.
- Using the S button:
- Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue.
- Release, then press and hold the S button for at least 2 seconds.
- Release the S button when the LED begins rapidly flashing.
- Using an attached light switch:
- The LED will blink (0.5s on, 0.5s off) during the inclusion process.
- The attached load will be toggled on and off twice when the Wave 1 Relay is successfully added to the Z-Wave network.
To delete a Shelly Qubino Wave 1:
- Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
- Trigger the Wave 1 Relay for exclusion:
- Using an attached light switch:
- Toggle the attached switch on and off three times within 3 seconds.
- Using the S button:
- Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue.
- Release, then press and hold the S button for at least 2 seconds.
- Release the S button when the LED begins rapidly flashing.
- Using an attached light switch:
- The LED will blink during the exclusion process.
- The attached load will be toggled on and off twice when the Wave 1 Relay is successfully removed from the Z-Wave network
To reset a Shelly Qubino Wave 1:
- Ensure the Wave 1 Relay is connected to power.
- Reset the Wave 1 Relay using an attached light switch or the S button:
- Using an attached light switch:
- Verify the Wave 1 Relay is connected to power.
- Toggle the attached light switch on and off five times within 3 seconds.
- Using the S button:
- Press and hold the S button until the LED turns solid blue.
- Press the S button multiple times, until the LED turns solid red.
- Release, then press and hold the S button for at least 2 seconds.
- Release the S button when the red LED begins rapidly flashing.
- Using an attached light switch:
- During the reset the LED will turn solid green for about 1 second, then the red and blue LED will blink for about 2 seconds.
- The blue LED will blink if the factory reset is successful.
