Enroll, delete, or reset a Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet (QZ2130-840)

The Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet (QZ2130-840) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet (QZ2130-840) into a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Press and release the program button.
  3. Verify that the device shows up on the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app and responds to commands to turn the Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet on/off.

To delete a Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet (QZ2130-840) from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Press and release the program button.
  3. The controller should indicate that the device was removed successfully.

To reset a Qolsys IQ Z-Wave Outlet (QZ2130-840):

  1. Unplug the IQ Outlet from the AC outlet as well as the power plugs of the lighting from the module (if plugged in).
  2. Press and hold the program button.
  3. Plug the IQ Outlet back into the AC outlet with the button pressed. After 3 seconds, release the button.
  4. If you see the button blink, that means that IQ Outlet has been reset successfully.

Troubleshooting
