RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS Integration - Installation guide

To integrate Lutron RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS systems with Alarm.com, the devices must be paired with a Lutron Connect Bridge and configured using the Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS app, and the Lutron account must be registered with Alarm.com.

Note: This article contains instructions for integrating Lutron RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS with Alarm.com. For instructions on integrating Lutron Caséta & RA2 Select with Alarm.com, see Caséta and RA2 Select Integration - Installation guide.

Pre-requisites for installations 

Each of the following is required for installation:
  • Lutron Connect Bridge
  • Lights or Lights & Thermostat Bundle and Lutron Integration service package add-ons
  • Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS app

Note: A single Lutron account may be paired with a single Alarm.com account. Multiple Alarm.com accounts cannot be integrated to a single Lutron account, and multiple Lutron accounts cannot be integrated to a single Alarm.com account. Lutron has a limit of one bridge/gateway per account. 

As well as one of the following:
  • RadioRA 2 Main Repeater with firmware version 6.1.0 + 
    RadioRA2.PNG
  • HomeWorks QS processor with firmware version 5.1.0 + 
    HomeWorksQS.PNG

Configure Lutron equipment using the Lutron app

To activate the RadioRA 2 devices using the Lutron app:
  1. Log in to the Lutron app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Amazon Alexa.
  4. Tap Devices.
  5. Tap Add/Remove Devices.
  6. Tap an area.
  7. Tap the devices that will be shared with Alarm.com.
  8. After all desired devices are selected, tap Save.
  9. Continue with additional areas if needed.

 

Add the Lutron device to Alarm.com
