To enroll a Jasco Enbrighten LED Bulb (52190 or ZW7105) into a Z-Wave network:

As a SmartStart device:

It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

For information about SmartStart compatibility and the enrollment process, see Add or remove a Z-Wave SmartStart-enabled device.

As an S2 device:

If your Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

For information about this process, see Add an S2-encrypted Z-Wave Device.

As an S0 device:

If your Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. The bulb defaults to SmartStart inclusion mode. To switch to S2 or non-secure enrollment, turn the bulb off and on three times, ending in on mode. The bulb will flash four times to indicate it is now in classic learn mode.
  3. The bulb will flash twice to indicate that it was added to the network.
  4. If the bulb is not added after 10 seconds, power the bulb off and on once to re-trigger it.

To delete a Jasco Enbrighten LED Bulb (52190 or ZW7105) from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Once the controller is ready to remove the device, turn the bulb OFF, then ON three times.
  3. The smart bulb flashes twice when removed from the network.

To reset a Jasco Enbrighten LED Bulb (52190 or ZW7105):

Note: This should only be used in the event the Z-Wave network’s primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable

  1. Starting with the bulb on, turn the switch off, pause one second, then turn back ON.
  2. Repeat three times (four times total).
  3. The smart bulb flashes twice when reset.
