Enroll, delete, or reset a GoControl Z-Wave In-Wall Switch (WS15Z5-1)

The GoControl Z-Wave In-Wall Switch (WS15Z5-1) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a GoControl Z-Wave In-Wall Switch into a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Tap the switch on the device. The device’s status LED will blink slowly.
  3. The status LED will stop blinking when the device has been successfully added.
  4. Verify that the device shows up on the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app and responds to commands to turn the device on/off.

To delete a GoControl Z-Wave In-Wall Switch from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Tap the switch two times.
  3. The status LED will blink slowly for 10 seconds to indicate a successful deletion.

To reset a GoControl Z-Wave In-Wall Switch:

  1. Tap the top of the switch paddle five times.
  2. Press and hold the bottom of the switch paddle for 15 seconds.
  3. The status LED will blink with increasing speed to indicate that the device is reset.

Troubleshooting

The Z-Wave device is not enrolling

The Z-Wave device is in malfunction or offline
