What light rules can be set up with motion sensors or Image Sensors?
Using Alarm.com light rules with motion sensors or Image Sensors, Z-Wave light devices can be set to perform the following:
- Turn on, off, or dim selected lights when motion sensors or Image Sensors are activated.
- Turn off the selected lights when motion sensors or Image Sensors are inactive for a specified amount of time (i.e., 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.). To create this rule, some panels have a firmware version requirement. For more information about compatibility with this rule, see Sensor inactivity compatibility.
