Can the user use fluorescent and incandescent lighting with Z-Wave light devices?
Yes, but fluorescent does not typically work normally with the dimming feature. Check the light control device's manual to see which light types it supports. Basic on/off commands can work normally, however.
Can Z-Wave plug-in devices be used to automate something other than a lamp?
Yes, as long as the electrical specifications of the Z-Wave device are appropriate for the load it is being connected to.
