Send a communication test from an Alarm.com Hub (ADC-NK-100-LTE)

A communication test can be sent from the cellular Alarm.com Hub. 

Note: The broadband hub cannot send communication tests. 

To send a communication test using the Alarm.com Hub Cellular Version (ADC-NK-100-LTE): 

  1. Press and hold the pairing button on the hub for about 10 seconds to enter Advanced Mode. 
    • The hub beeps 3 times, and the LED cycles green, orange, and white. 
  2.  In Advanced Mode, press and immediately release the Power  button. 
    • When the test has begun, the hub beeps 6 times and the status light slowly alternates green and orange flashes.
  3. When the communication test is completed, the hub beeps for one second.
    • A solid green status light indicates a successful test.
    • A solid orange status light indicates an unsuccessful test.
