Does a LiftMaster MyQ Smart Garage Hub slow down an internet connection?
The LiftMaster Hub (821LM, 821LMB, 821LMC-SCM, MyQ-G0301, MyQ-G0401-ES) data transmission is very minimal and only active when sending a message or receiving a command, such as when the door is opened locally or remotely. The user does not experience any noticeable speed reduction to their internet connection.
Important: The gateway must have a continuously active internet connection (also known as broadband internet) to ensure reliable performance.
