Can the garage door status be viewed and controlled from the security panel?
The ability to see, open, and close the garage door opener (GDO) from a security panel depends on the type of garage door control solution and security panel the user has.
For a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller GD00Z
If the user has a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller, local control of the garage door is compatible with the following panels:

For LiftMaster MyQ, Genie Aladdin Connect, or OHD Anywhere Devices
If the user has a LiftMaster MyQ, Genie Aladdin Connect, or OHD Anywhere Smart Garage device, it is not possible to control the garage door opener from most security panels. This is because the GDO control integration is between the Alarm.com and LiftMaster, Genie, or Overhead Door systems, so there is no direct communication between the garage door operator and the security panel.
The only panels that currently allow for integrating with the LiftMaster MyQ, Genie Aladdin Connect, or OHD Anywhere GDO solutions are the following:
