How long of a wire can the Alarm.com Flex IO sensor loop input support?
The Alarm.com Flex IO® sensor supports a built-in loop input that can be used for wired contact and pull-apart sensors.
Alarm.com recommends an 18-22 AWG wire with a length of 20 meters (~65 feet) or less.
Note: The included 300kW EOL resistor can be used to detect cut wires. If a cut wire is detected, the customer should see a Loop Tamper trouble condition and corresponding notification.
