Reboot the IQ WiFi 6 network

Rebooting the IQ WiFi 6 power cycles the network. 

Note: Customers can reboot the IQ WiFi 6 remotely via the Alarm.com app for IQ Panel 4, Qolsys IQ4 NS, or Qolsys IQ4 Hubs with firmware 4.4.0+. The panel will receive the command via cellular communication and send the command to the IQ WiFi 6 via local network connection. 

Reboot the network 

The IQ WiFi 6 network can be rebooted remotely using the Alarm.com customer website. The network can also be rebooted locally at the device or using the web interface.

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website. 
  2. In the Wi-Fi card, click Details. 
  3. Click Settings. 
  4. Click Reboot Network.

  5. Click Reboot to confirm the reboot. 

Note: This option is only available for customers using an IQ Panel 4, Qolsys IQ4 NS, or Qolsys IQ4 Hub with firmware 4.4.0+.

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. In Wi-Fi, tap Details.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Reboot Network. 
  1. Turn off and unplug the modem.
  2. Turn off the IQ WiFi 6.
  3. Plug in the modem and turn it on. Wait two minutes.
  4. Turn on the IQ WiFi 6 and wait for the power LED to stop flashing.

  1. Using Chrome, navigate to 192.168.105.1 in the URL. 
  2. Login to the router.
    • Default user name and password:
      • Username: admin
      • Password: located on the bottom of each IQ WiFi 6 unit. 
         
        Note: Once the password has been changed from the default password, the only way to access IQ WiFi 6 web interface is by using the new updated password. If forgotten, the only other way to gain access is to perform a master reset on the IQ WiFi 6 by pressing and holding the physical reset button for 20 seconds. 
         
  3. In System, click Reboot to perform a reboot to the IQ WiFi 6.
