What network settings can prevent the ADC-W110 from communicating?

The ADC-W110 uses datalink bridging to communicate with a customer's router. This means the W110 requests an IP address for itself and the connected camera using the same MAC address, and then uses the source and destination addresses in received packets to determine how the packets should be distributed. Some routers support a mode called "IP-MAC Binding" or "ARP Binding" that ties an IP address to a single MAC address and prevents this type of bridging. If a W110 is testing as connected but the connected camera is testing as disconnected, power cycle the camera. If there is no change in performance after a power cycle, it may be worth checking the router's settings to determine if this mode is enabled. 

The "IP-MAC Binding" or "ARP Binding" setting can commonly be found in the "Firewall", "DHCP Configurations", or "MAC Filtering" sections of the router's configuration GUI, but will vary from router to router. Disabling this within the router's settings may allow for the devices to communicate properly.
