Create a cell data limit notification for the Cell Connector (ADC-NK-200T-A-CC2)
By default, customers are notified of their monthly cell data limit through emails sent to the primary email address of the account. Notification emails are sent when 50%, 80%, and 100% of the monthly cell data limit is reached. If a customer reaches 100%, a notification is sent at the beginning of the next month when uploads are allowed again. A system event notification can also be created to track the monthly cell data limit using the Alarm.com customer website and the Alarm.com app.

Note: When a customer reaches their data limit, live streaming and viewing SD or SVR footage are not available to them until data consumption resets at the beginning of the next month. Live streaming and viewing SD or SVR footage will still be accessible through Remote Video Monitoring interfaces. The only exception is that Alarm.com always allows alarm and gunshot-triggered clip uploads to remain enabled.
Enhanced monthly data limit alerts
Enhanced monthly data limit alerts help customers spot and fix heavy data consumption before limits are reached and functionalities are paused. Email and push notifications are still sent when key benchmarks are reached, but notifications are also sent depending on how quickly the customer account reaches each benchmark. This ensures customers can address problems quickly.
Important: The customer account will need a Cell Connector enrolled and a cell data plan selected in the service package to use this feature.
Create a cell data limit notification
A system event cell data limit notification can be created using the Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app.
To create a cell data limit notification using the Alarm.com customer website: 
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Notifications.
- Click New Notification.
- Click System Event.
- Name the new notification rule.
- In Important, click to select A device reaches 50%, 80%, and 100% of cellular data. This sends a system notification when specific upload limit amounts are reached.
- Click Add to choose notification recipients.
- Click the entries in the Address Book that are to be notified, or click New to add a new address book entry.
- Click Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Click Save.
To create a cell data limit notification using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap

- Tap

. - Tap Create Your Own.
- Tap System Event.
- Name the new notification rule.
- In Important, tap to select A device reaches 50%, 80%, and 100% of cellular data. This sends a system notification when specific upload limit amounts are reached.
- Tap Add to choose notification recipients.
- Tap the entries in the Address Book that are to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new address book entry.
- Tap Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Tap Save.
