What are the jumpers on the ADC-AC-MR52 for?
J1
The J1 jumper determines the voltage that is supplied to the VIN terminals that power both Reader 1 and Reader 2. Consult your readers' power requirements before making your selection of placing the J2 jumper on 12 or PT.
If powering the ADC-AC-MR52 with 12VDC:
- Selecting 12 for the J2 jumper will provide less than 12VDC for both readers.
- Selecting PT for the J2 jumper will provide 12VDC for both readers.
If powering the ADC-AC-MR52 with 24VDC:
- Selecting 12 for the J2 jumper will provide 12VDC for both readers.
- Selecting PT for the J2 jumper will provide 24VDC for both readers.
J4
The J4 jumper is the end of line termination jumper. It should only be installed if the expansion is the last in the chain of expansions connected to a controller.
