What are the jumpers on the ADC-AC-MR50 for?

J501 or J1

The J501 jumper (i.e., also known as the J1 jumper) is the end-of-line termination jumper. It should only be installed if the expansion is the last in the chain of expansions connected to a controller.

J502 or J2

The J502 jumper (i.e., also known as the J2 jumper) is used for the expansion tamper. If the jumper is not attached with the black and white wire harness, the expansion module will show a tamper.

J601

The J601 jumper is used for OSDP termination and is located behind the reader port. The J601 jumper must be capped to use an OSDP reader or uncapped to use a Wiegand reader.

For more information about wiring a Wiegand reader, see Wire a Wiegand reader or keypad to a door controller or expansion module.

For more information about wiring an OSDP reader, see Wire and configure an Alarm.com brand reader or keypad for OSDP to a door controller or expansion module.
