What happens if the FPV4's 12V / 24V jumper is missing?

The FPV4 is the primary power supply board included in the following pre-wired kits from Alarm.com:

• ADC-ACC1-17-PSE (Door Controller & Power Supply Kit)
• ADC-AC-LP1501-PSE (Door Controller & Power Supply Kit)
• ADC-AC-LP1502-PSE (Two Door Controller & Power Supply Kit)

Should the power selection jumper on the FPV4 be removed so that no selection is made, the FPV4 will default to outputting 12 VDC.


 

If the original jumper is recovered or a suitable replacement is found, it is recommended to set the FPV4's power selection jumper to 24V as it comes by default. If an adjustment to 12V is required, see Can the ADC-AC-LP1501-PSE and ADC-ACC1-17-PSE kits be reconfigured to only use 12 VDC?.
