What are the DIP switches used for on Mercury Series door controllers?
The four DIP switches determine the operating mode of the ADC-ACC1-17, ADC-AC-LP1501, or ADC-AC-LP1502 processor. DIP switches are read on power-up except where noted.
By default, the DIP switches on the ADC-ACC1-17, ADC-AC-LP1501, and ADC-AC-LP1502 door controllers come pre-set in the OFF (i.e., down) position required for normal operation as seen below.

DIP switches
The dip switches on the Mercury Series door controllers are designed to be in the OFF position during all standard operations. These dip switches should only be turned on at the request of support or during the following specific procedures:
- Perform a factory reset on a Mercury Series door controller.
- For more information about performing a factory reset with an ADC-AC-ACC1-17, see To perform a Factory Reset on an ADC-ACC1-17 controller.
- For more information about performing a factory reset with an ADC-LP1501, see To perform a Factory Reset on an ADC-AC-LP1501 controller.
- For more information about performing a factory reset with an ADC-LP1502, see To perform a Factory Reset on an ADC-AC-LP1501 controller.
- Configure a static IP. For more information, see Configure an Access Control door controller to use a Static IP.
