How often should the LP1502 Door Controller (ADC-AC-LP1502) battery be replaced?
In general, the lithium batteries on the board will last for several years. However, to guarantee non-disruption on highly utilized sites, it is recommended to replace the batteries annually. The coin battery type is CR2330 or BR2330. This recommendation is consistent as published in the UL guidelines.
Note: Elevated temperatures will decrease battery life (consistent with annual replacement). If boards are put into storage, it is recommended to add an insulator to the board prior to storage.
