How often should the X1100 Door Controller (ADC-AC-X1100) battery be replaced?

In general, the lithium batteries on the board will last for several years. However, to guarantee non-disruption on highly utilized sites, it is recommended to replace the batteries annually. The coin battery type is CR2032. This recommendation is consistent as published in the UL guidelines.

Note: Elevated temperatures will decrease battery life (consistent with annual replacement). If boards are put into storage, it is recommended to add an insulator to the board prior to storage.
