Can I add Access Control doors to a scene?
Yes. Access Control can be added to new or existing scenes. Scenes can be used to open or close Access Control doors in conjunction with arming or disarming the security panel or when triggering other devices.
Set up scenes
Scenes can be set up using the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app.
To set up scenes using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- In the Welcome card, click Scenes.
- Click New Scene to create a new scene.
- To edit an existing scene, click

- Click the scene icon to select an icon and icon color for the scene.
- In the Scene Name field, enter the desired name for the scene.
- Find the desired Access Control door, then select the device action to automate during the scene.
- Click Save.
To set up scenes using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap Scenes.
- Tap
to create a new scene.
- To edit an existing scene, tap the scene, then tap Edit.
- Tap Change Icon to select an icon and icon color for the scene, then tap Done.
- In the Scene Name field, enter the desired name for the scene.
- In Devices, tap Add.
- Tap Doors.
- Tap to select the doors to automate the scene.
- Tap Next.
- Tap either Unlock or Lock.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Save.
