How do Alarm.com card and keyfob credentials work?

Format

The following table includes Alarm.com card and keyfob credential models with their corresponding format and facility codes.

Note: The Alarm.com 46-bit format is only compatible with Alarm.com readers. When using this format on Alarm.com systems, the facility code should be ignored.

Card model Card format
ADC-AC-CARD-50D4 Alarm.com 46-bit (Facility Code 0)
is used with an Alarm.com reader.

Alarm.com 36-bit (Facility Code 7)
is used specifically when paired with a non-Alarm.com Prox reader.
ADC-AC-CARD-50H4  Alarm.com 46-bit (Facility Code 0)
ADC-AC-FOB-60H8  Alarm.com 46-bit (Facility Code 0)

Note: Alarm.com card credentials are marked for vertical or horizontal slot punches. The cards may be punched on the dotted line.

Ordering

When ordering the ADC-AC-CARD-50D4, ADC-AC-CARD-50H4, or ADC-AC-FOB-60H8 credentials, there will not be an option to select a card range or facility code. This is due to each credential produced using a unique card ID number and no duplicates are made.
