Alarm.com Video Doorbell (ADC-VDB750) Resident Guide

Enroll the Video Doorbell to your account 

To begin, verify the Wi-Fi upload speed is sufficient. The ADC-VDB750 requires at least 2.5 Mbps upload speed. For help on Wi-Fi requirements, see What are the internet service and bandwidth requirements for Alarm.com Doorbell Cameras?

  1. To verify your doorbell is ready to connect to Wi-Fi, press and hold the doorbell button for 45 seconds. Release when the LED light starts blinking red and green. Then, wait a few moments until the LED begins blinking white. This indicates the doorbell is ready to enroll. If the doorbell does not blink white, please contact your property manager for assistance. 
  2. Open the Alarm.com app.
  3. Tap Doorbell Camera.
  4. Tap Add Doorbell Camera.
  5. Tap to select ADC-VDB750.
  6. Verify the LED Light on the doorbell is flashing white, then tap Next.
  7. Add a preferred device name (e.g., Unit 102 Doorbell).
  8. Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network. The network name format will be ADC-VDB750 (XX:YY:ZZ) where XX:YY:ZZ is the last 6 characters of the camera's MAC address. The camera's MAC address will be provided to you by your property manager. 
  9. The doorbell should begin Installing. This may take a few minutes.
  10. Once installation is completed, the Video Doorbell is enrolled. Use the Alarm.com app to select the chime type.
    1. Tap Doorbell Camera
    2. Tap Configure.
    3. Using the Chime Type dropdown menu, tap to select the appropriate chime type. 
    4. Tap Check.
       
      Note: Use the chime type information provided by your property manager. Contact your property manager with any questions.  
       
  11. Once enrollment is complete and the chime type is selected , set up Video Analytics rules and notifications. For more information about setting up Video Analytics, see Configure a Video Analytics rule for an Alarm.com doorbell camera.

Notices 

Product installation height should be less than 2 m (6’ 7”) from floor level and in a vertical orientation. Adjustments to installations should be completed by a professional.
