In what file formats are snapshots and video clips saved?

Saved clip file formats
- .avi
- .mov
- .mp4
The first time you export a clip, a popup appears asking you to choose the preferred download format. This preference is saved for future clip downloads. You can adjust the file format for each video device individually using the Alarm.com customer website. For more information about how to download a clip, see Download a video clip.
To select a preferred clip download format:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Video.
- Click Settings.
- Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired video device.
- Click Saved Video.
- Using the Downloaded Clip Format dropdown menu, select the desired file format.
- Click Save.
