How can I update the carrier for a mobile contact?

You can update the carrier for a mobile contact using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

Note: If the number is being used for Two-Factor Authentication, it must first be disabled from the Login Information section in Settings. For more information about disabling Two-Factor Authentication, see Enable Two Factor Authentication.

To update the carrier for a mobile contact using the Alarm.com app:

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Users or User Access.
  4. Tap Options next to the desired user, then tap Edit.
  5. In Contact Information, tap Mobile.
  6. Using the Carrier dropdown, select the desired carrier.
  7. Tap Save.

To update the carrier for a mobile contact using the Alarm.com customer website:

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Users or User Access.
  3. Click Options next to the desired user, then click Edit.
  4. In Contact Information, click Mobile.
  5. Using the Carrier dropdown, select the desired carrier.
  6. Click Save.
